Creator Commentary
“Vinylized was an interesting take and looking back at it, it’s definitely shown its age. But nonetheless, It was a project I’m glad I got to work on because it showcased a lot of my roots in building the signature diverse sound I was seeking for. Vinylized is one of those songs that further pushed into the envelope of making experimental tracks and fusion.
It was funny too, because around this time was also (by coincidence) when I started to acquire the East West sound libraries, making this one of the first songs in my discography to feature Hollywood Orchestra libraries. The rock fusion of the song was inspired by the sound style The Crystal Method would often use in their earlier pieces. Definitely a weird track now, but that’s the charm with these experiments.”
